Selby’s debut collection of poetry.Joan K. Selby’s writing is a masterclass in emotional archaeology—excavating the unsaid with precision and grace. Her work, celebrated for its lyrical intensity and unflinching honesty, has been honored as a Kirkus Prize Finalist and anthologized in Best American Experimental Poetry. Whether crafting poems that bend time or essays that dissect the anatomy of longing, Joan wields language like a sculptor: every word deliberate, every silence resonant. For her, excellence isn’t merely technical prowess—it’s the ability to make strangers feel intimately known. As The Rumpus noted: ‘Selby doesn’t write lines; she stitches lifelines.

Our History

More than just Books.

History is not confined to ink and paper—it lives in the margins, the dog-eared corners, and the whispered conversations between lines. Joan K. Selby’s work unearths the stories buried beneath the surface: the love letters tucked into forgotten novels, the annotations left by strangers, and the way a single phrase can echo across generations. These are not just books; they are artifacts of human longing, each one a testament to the lives that touched them. Here, literature is not merely read—it is felt, inherited, and rewritten in the quiet spaces between words. Because the truest stories are never just written; they are passed from hand to hand, heartbeat to heartbeat

The original version of 'Love Warp' was worth publishing.
